VOLUNTEER DAY
26th FEBRUARY 2009
On 26th February 2009 a 40-strong team from RBS Insurance came to Bradbourne for a day of volunteering. 'Strong' turned out to be a very appropriate word as they reduced a redundant RDA caravan to a pile of rubble within minutes.
They also gave our carriage shed a very smart coat of paint and re-decorated our shower and toilet facilities in time for the start of the summer camp season.
We are very grateful to RBS Insurance for arranging the event and to the individuals themselves for their hard work and good humour.
We are also very grateful to Mrs. Lyford for providing the team with well-earned refreshments throughout the day.
