For participants in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme, time spent helping
with RDA on a regular basis qualifies for the Service element of the award. And
helping with a residential summer camp can be used as the Residential component
of the Gold award.
Students planning a career in the caring professions will
find that experience as an RDA helper is highly valued by admissions tutors and
potential employers.
New helpers are asked to complete an enrolment form and will be asked
to undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check in line with RDA national policy.
They can, if they wish, join Bradbourne RDA for a small annual membership fee
and this entitles them to discounts on Bradbourne RDA clothing, etc .
If you are at least 14 years of age and would like to find out more, please
